Frequently Asked Questions

What is a subscription?

A subscription is a curated package of concerts bundled together at a discounted price. When you subscribe, you select a series and your price level once, then enjoy concerts throughout the season from the same location.

I am new to subscribing. Is it complicated?

Not at all. Simply choose your series, select your pricing level, create an account, and complete your purchase. Your concerts will then be scheduled for you throughout the season.

Do I save money by subscribing?

Yes. Subscription packages are priced lower than purchasing each concert individually. You also pay a handling fee only once, instead of on each order. As a subscriber, you receive access to locked subscriber pricing when purchasing additional tickets and select events throughout the season.

Can I choose my own seats?

Subscribers select their preferred pricing level, and seats are assigned based on subscriber priority and availability. Returning subscribers who renew by the deadline retain their same seats from the previous season. New subscribers are seated in the best available locations within their selected pricing level.

Will I have the same seats for every concert?

Yes. Your seats remain the same for each concert within your selected series.

What if I cannot attend one of my concerts?

Subscribers may exchange their tickets for another performance, subject to availability and exchange policies. Patron Services is happy to assist.

Can I add extra tickets to my subscription?

Yes. Subscribers receive priority access to purchase additional tickets and add-on concerts at their exclusive subscriber rate and before the tickets go on sale to the general public.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will be available in your account prior to the start of the season. You may access them digitally through your account or the Louisville Orchestra app. If you choose printed tickets, you will recieve them in the mail along with your subscriber informational packet.

Is there a payment plan available?

Some payment plans are available. Contact Patron Services at (502) 587-8681 for more information.

Can I upgrade or change my seats later?

Seat upgrades and changes may be requested by contacting Patron Services at (502) 587-8681. Adjustments are based on availability.

Can I purchase more than one series?

Absolutely! Many subscribers enjoy combining series, such as Classics and Pops, for a broader season experience.

Package sales are final. Programs, dates, artists and times are subject to change.
